Control Panels are the brains of any security systems. They monitor every input device and control every output device; like the CPU is to a computer. The Control Panel monitors how many zones you can have, how many areas (areas of your security system that can be controlled [armed, disarmed, etc] seperately), how much expansion, automation, and pretty much anything else you can imagine.
